EU Urges for Higher Water Prices. In Ireland we have over 40% leakage through the piping infrastructure. We use the same water for flushing the toilet as we use for bathing, drinking etc. We have no water cultivation or conservation in that water collected from roofs is put into the sewage system. Look at the massive area of roof space we have in towns and cities. What could be done with a little imagination for the massive volumes of water that could be capture from these roof’s. But no lets charge for the poor planning and downright failure’s of government to supply water in a proper efficient way.
